My FAVES

My favorite color is purple. That has been my favorite color for as long as i can remember, followed by earth tones. There are various shades of purple and they are all perfect in its own way. Purple is also commonly associated with royalty, nobility,spirituality, and wisdom. There is even an online store dedicated to the wonderful world of purple.

My favorite sport to play is beach volley ball. Though I don't really play competitively i do love the sport. I love summer, beach volley ball gives me a chance to enjoy the weather, soak up the sun, and have tons of fun. Volley ball is also a great cardio work-out.
Another sport I enjoy is womens basketball. I dont play at all but I enjoy watchinng the sport on television and attending games. My favorite team is the New York Liberty of the WNBA (Womens National Basketball Association).

My favorite genres of music are R&B and neo-soul. While i do listen to other genres, I mostly like to listen to layed back music. I like neo-soul because its soft, and and often tells a story. I like R&B because its a little more up-beat. I try to listen to music with positive messages that can in some way inspire. Music is a wonderful thing, and listening to music happens to be one of my favorite past times. Music helps me to celebrate when i am happy, calms me down when I'm upset, and comforts me when I am stressed and may be an emotional wreck. I belive there is a song for every emotion and almost every moment and that is just the best thing ever to me. My favorite R&B artist is India Arie . I love her music. She is soulful and she often speaks about self love and accepting who you are. I dont really have an absolute favorite R&B artist. I like everything from Maxwell, Mary J. Bleige, Trey Songz, Bel Biv Divoe, Usher, Keri Hilson ... the list goes on and on.

My favorite television shows are Greys Anatomy , Private practice , The game, and bad Girls Club.

Grey's Anatomy is a medical drama on abc. It takes place at Seattle Grace hospital, which recently merged with Mercy Grace. Greys Anatomy is centered on the life of Marideth Grey a nuro-surgeon, played by Ellen Pompeo. Greys Anatomy tells the story of the lives surgeons and surgeon interns in both the workplace and their personal lives.

Private practice is a spin off of 'Greys Anatomy', also a medical drama. It takes place at a private practice centering on the life of Dr. Addison Montgomery (formally from Greys Anatomy) a neonatal surgeon, played by Kate Walsh.

The Game is a great comedy about Melanie (Tia Mowry)a medical student who choses to follow Derwin (Pooch Hall) her rookie pro-football player boyfriend to San Diego, California. Melanie tries to juggle school, the sunbeams, and the new lifestyle of her man. Throughout the series Melanie and Derwin have their ups and downs (which include Derwin getting another girl pregnant). The show has viewer divided (team Melanie, or Team Derwin.)
The show was cancelled after season 3 on the CW network. There are talks of BET picking it up for season four and beyond. (keep ya fingers crossed)

The Bad girls Club is a reality show on the Oxygen network. Nine self proclaimed "bad girls" live in a house together. The party, they go clubbing, and or course there is drama. Lated on in the show they do different exersizes and activities to change their ways.
